You are approaching the turnoff to the Macnuts Macadamia Nut Farm. This farm is one of New Zealand’s finest macadamia orchards. They produce a wide range of macadamia products which can be bought at the café inside. Here you can wander around the orchard and see the picking, cracking and preparation of the macadamia products. The surroundings are spectacular and visitors are invited to relax in the Macnuts Café, overlooking the lake and orchard. Pre-booked guided tours available for groups and self-guided tours sheets are available on request.
