You are now in the vicinity of Ohaku Bay and Tamaki Drive. Tamaki Drive is a scenic road that offers visitors plenty of photo opportunities. The drive covers about 10 kilometers along the Waitemata Harbour and then cuts across to Ohaku Bay and Bastion Point. Mission Bay is another popular stop along the drive. Tamaki Drive finishes at Achilles Point, named after “The Achilles,” a ship that is remembered for sinking a war ship in 1939.
