You are now approaching Shakespear Regional Park. This is a 376 hectare coastal park with spectacular views of Auckland and the inner Hauraki Gulf. Army Bay and Okoromai Bay are two safe swimming beaches that can be found inside the park. Army Bay is a magnificent sandy beach backed by impressive cliffs. The park has a camping ground and several scenic walking trails for visitors to enjoy.
