You are approaching Christchurch Gondola. Located in the Heathcote Valley, the Gondola is 945m long and can take passengers 500 meters above sea level to the city’s famous extinct volcano. It is a comfortable ride with 4 passenger cabins and boasts a 360* view of Christchurch, the Canterbury Plains and Lyttelton Harbour. Once visitors reach the summit, they can participate in a walking trail through the Heritage Time Tunnel, visit the retail shop or dine at the Pinnacle & Summit Café.
