You are approaching New Brighton Pier. The pier opened in 1997 and was designed to allow visitors to experience the ocean. Stretching for 300 meters, it is the longest ocean pier in Australasia. The nearby Library is also on then beachfront and boasts spectacular views. The clock tower is on Marine Parade at the opposite end of Seaview Road.
