You are approaching Ferrymead Heritage Park. This park features a Heritage Township, a school house and tearooms. There is also a jail, railway station and a museum. Tram rides operate on the weekends and trains rides run on the first Sunday of every month and every Sunday during December and February. The Historic Photography and Film Centre is a photographic museum that preserves the photographic heritage and art of Canterbury.
