You are now approaching Arthur’s Pass Village. This small alpine village is nestled amongst the Southern Alps and it is a scenic and pleasant holiday destination. There are also a number of restaurants, cafes, hotels and lodges in and around the town. Activities in town range from hiking, mountain biking, fishing and rock climbing. Arthur’s Pass Village also lies close to the Alpine Fault, the fault line responsible for the earthquakes in the region. There are five ski fields on the Craigieburn Range, all very near to Arthur’s Pass Village.
