Coming up is the Mercury Bay Museum. This is the most visited museum in the Coromandel Peninsula with exhibits dating from as far back as 800 to 950 AD. The museum is home to many world-class exhibitions like the Polynesian Collection, which is a collection of Solomon, Santa Cruz, Melanesian and Fijian artifacts. They also have other exhibitions such as the Maori artifacts exhibition and the James Cook 12 days in Mercury Bay exhibition.
