Fiordland Header

The deep ice-carved fiords of Fiordland span 215 kilometres of coastline, pushing through steep mountain ranges. Lofty waterfalls tumble through virgin forest and villages quiver beside deep lakes, overshadowed by mountains. While many flock here to take in the wonders of the Milford Sound, most find that the towering peaks surrounding vast open valleys, the sprawling rainforest, massive schist peaks, wide open plains filled with sheep and cattle stations, and historic fishing villages also vie for attention.
