You are now approaching the entrance to the Strawberry Patch. The patch is located on the outskirts of Havelock North, a famous wine producing region of Hawke’s Bay. Visitors can pick strawberries amongst old oak trees and eat strawberries and ice cream till their heart’s content. This is also a popular picnic spot and the first stop on the Hawke’s Bay Food Trail. Also note that picking strawberries is only an option from mid-November to March.
