You are now approaching the Hanmer Springs I-Site Visitor Information Centre and Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and spa. Whenever you see the I-Site sign you know that the centre is part of New Zealand’s official network of visitor centres. Visitors are provided with free information about local attractions, accommodation and transport. Hanmer Springs Pool and Spa are open from 9am to 10pm daily for visitors to come and relax surrounded by nature. The thermal waters contain a whole range of minerals that are good for you. Choose between rock pools, sulphur pools and private pools. If you feel like adventure then hop on the waterslide and feel like a child again.
