Coming up on the left/right hand side is the Thrillseekers Canyon at the Waiau Ferry Bridge. The historic bridge was built in 1882 and bungee jumpers can often be seen leaping off the sides. It’s a 35 meter drop with just the river below you. The lodge has a viewing area which looks out over the entire area. With a name like the Thrillseekers Canyon you know you’re in for plenty of adventure. The Thrillseekers jet ride covers the entire length of Waiau Gorge where you will come up close to rocks and cliff faces. If you prefer to stay on land you can try your hand at paintballing, quad biking, off road karting and clay bird shooting.
