You are now approaching the Havelock Museum coming up on the left/right. The small museum is found on the main road and features the gold rush days when Havelock was a buzzing town. It also features the honor rolls of Havelock school. On the roll you will see the name of the famous Kiwi scientist Ernest Rutherford who went to school here from 1886 to 1894.
