You are now approaching the turnoff for the Queen Charlotte Walkway which is 4 kilometers from here. The track travels through the Marlborough Sounds from Ship Cove to Anakiwa offering views of the Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds. The track covers a distance of 71 kilometers and is known for a spectacular changing landscape, historical landmarks, native bush and wildlife. There is plenty of accommodation available along the track and transport services for transferring your luggage. The Queen Charlotte Sound is known for its bush covered shorelines, deep bays and coves and is a great place to go sea kayaking.
