You are now approaching Pigeon Valley Steam Park coming up on the left/right hand side. The museum is a collection of machinery and exhibits from the old days. Come and experience working steam engines, vintage tractors, military vehicles and old trucks. You can go for rides around the bush tramway driven by a traction engine. The museum is open on the first Sunday of every month and every Sunday in January. For a small entrance fee you can spend the day and enjoy as many rides as you like. Pigeons Valley Steam Park is part of the larger Higgins Park complex which is home to the Rover car club and Nelson vintage engine and machinery club.
