You are now approaching Natureland Zoological Park and Tahunanui beach coming up on the left/right. At Natureland you have a chance to get up close to the animals which include wallabies, monkeys, meerkats and Kune Kune pigs. Take a walk through the aviary, admire the tropical fish and observe the turtles as they go about their day. Natureland is open every day from 9am until 4pm. During the school holidays children have the chance to be zookeeper for a day. Spend the rest of the day having a picnic on Tahunanui Beach, one of the most popular beaches in the area.
