On your left is the Golden Bay Machinery & Settlers Museum. It is the site of the old Collingwood Cheese Factory. The museum has various kinds of early tractors, farm machinery and implements. You will also find vehicles, horse gear and a large variety of settlers’ items. Visit the steam section where ‘Steam Up’ days are held on special occasions like Easter, Christmas and New Year. There is a pioneer kitchen with a coal range where scones are baked and served on ‘Steam Up’ days. Donations are accepted as an entrance fee.
