Sheepworld (Warkworth)

Visitors to SheepWorld can enjoy a step by step insight into how we in New Zealand farm our sheep, then harvest and use their wool.

In the twice-daily shows the dogs round up and bring in the sheep, which are then sorted and shorn. Our Wonderful Wool multimedia exhibition then explains and demonstrates how the fleece is put to an amazing variety of uses.

As well as demonstrating the NZ sheep and wool story, SheepWorld has some great ways to experience NZ nature first hand and to meet with some of our friendly wildlife and farm animals.

Plus there's great shopping for quality, natural NZ products and an onsite café
