Coming up is Haruru Falls and Waitangi walking track. This walk will take you along the Waitangi River to a beautiful horse shoe shaped water fall. The track starts near the car park so follow the signs and you’ll be on the trail in no time. It should take walkers about 1 ½ hours to complete this relatively easy 5 kilometer trail, through mangrove trees and forests. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the track, there are also no benches or rubbish bins on the Waitangi track but there are some available at the Treaty House.
