Coming up is the turn-off for Henderson Bay, a long sandy beach tinged pink with the crushed shells of ‘Devils Toenails’, a small red, clam-like shell that looks just like an overgrown toenail. From the carpark it takes ten minutes to reach the beach following a roughly formed track through the dunes. On the rocks below the carpark seals are sometimes spotted basking in the sun.
