You are now approaching Langs Beach, a small community that consists of holiday homes and a few small shops. The town’s beaches has safe swimming areas and ideal kayaking and boating conditions. There are two excellent golf courses nearby and the well known Hen and Chicken Islands, noted for their birdlife. The legendary explorer James Cook named both these island clusters when he first saw them over 200 years ago. Visitors can take a boat tour to Hen and Chicken Islands and explore the region for themselves.
