You are now approaching the Matauri Bay Beach. The beach is wonderfully sheltered and is very popular amongst surfers and fisherman. The monument for the Rainbow Warrior can be found on the top of the hill at the end of Matauri Bay. You can access the monument on through a short walking track that goes through the van park.
