You are approaching the turnoff to Maungaraho Rock. This massive rock outcrop rises out of the countryside not far out of Toka Toka and offers a wonderful walking track. There is a lower track which is suitable for anyone but please note that the trail becomes a track en route to the summit of the rock. The walk to the summit is steep and calls for some climbing and should only be attempted by experienced trackers. However challenging, the walk is worth while and the summit of Maungaraho Rock boasts wonderful picture opportunities of the surrounding area.
