Coming up on your left/right is the turnoff for Tauranga Bay. The bay has recently become a very popular port with yachts arriving from Tonga and it is known as a great place to be based at during the hurricane season. Tauranga Bay is also home to a beautiful beach, which is very popular with surfers and body boarders. From the Bay as well you can ctach the spectacular views of Stephenson’s Island, which is located just off the coast of Tauranga Bay.
