Coming up is the Dunedin Public Art Gallery. The Dunedin Public Art Gallery was established in 1884, during Dunedin's gold rush boom. It continues to flourish as one of New Zealand's most significant art museums. It houses a fine collection of European art, including paintings by Monet, Gainsborough and Turner, some pieces date back to 1860. The Gallery presents a wide-range of events including lectures, floor talks, film and video screenings, performances and workshops.
