Coming up is the Olveston Experience. Olveston is a historic stately home that allows visitors a glimpse into the lifestyle of a privileged family in the early 1900’s. The house was given to the city intact with all of its contents in 1966. It was built between 1904 and 1906 by the Theomin family. Olveston's priceless collection of treasures was collected from around the world, the largest percentage of these coming from East Asia and in particular, Japan. Guided tours are conducted by trained and knowledgeable personnel, and kept to a maximum of 15 people at a time.
