You are approaching Glenfalloch Woodlands Gardens. Glenfalloch is the Gaelic term for “hidden valley”. For more than 120 years, Glenfalloch has been cultivated to showcase rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, fuchsias and a range of other flower species. Exotic plants have been integrated with native ferns and trees. A 1000-year-old matai stands amongst mature oak, walnut, elm and English beech trees. Walking tracks allow you explore the 30 acre garden at your own pace, or you can take a guided tour. The gardens are home to a Potter's Cottage, where a resident potter is at work most weekdays.
