Coming up is St Clairs Beach, one of the most popular city beaches and surfing spots. A heated salt water outdoor swimming pool, located at the southern end of the long sweeping beach, is open over the summer period. Along the promenade is a choice of restaurants and bars catering for every occasion. In 2004 the sea wall was refurbished to provide a modern, wide promenade, with steps leading down to the beautiful sandy beach.
