You are now approaching Blue Pools. It’s a fifteen minute walk through silver beech forest to the crystal clear pools set in the Blue River. This is the world renowned Blue Pools Walk. The gravel path leads you deep into the forest to a series of clear blue pools that have been carved out of the rocks by centuries of erosion. The glacier-fed water in these deep pools is azure blue and so clear that you can see right to the bottom and the resident brown trout look like they are suspended in the air! Be sure not to miss this stop!
