You are now approaching the turnoff for Paradise Valley Springs. The park is set in a native New Zealand bush setting. The Ngongotaha Stream runs through the park and is filled with trout. Low fences surrounding Paradise Valley Springs mean that visitors can have plenty of interaction with the wildlife. Paradise Valley Springs is home to wild and farmed animals such as deer, wallabies, Kune Kune pigs and eels. The Wetlands feature a number of water birds like black swans and ducks. There is also a natural freshwater spring where you can sample pure New Zealand Spring water. Be sure to pay their Lion Pride a visit and if you’re lucky, pat some of the lion cubs.
