Welcome to the Bluff! One of South Island's most southern settlements, Bluff is Invercargill's port town and gateway to Stewart Island. Approximately 15 minutes drive south of Invercargill, the Bluff is famous for its fishing industry, delicious oysters and top-notch southern hospitality. The drive to Bluff is quite scenic as there are a number of shipwrecks set in the wetlands that are visible from the road.
