Coming up is Colac Bay Beach, a popular fishing spot also known as “trees.” Colac Bay is a small township that encompasses a craft shop, a beautiful beachfront cafe and restaurant, motel style accommodation, pub, caravan park, community hall and Marae. Visitors to the town are greeted by a statue of a surfer riding a wave. Colac Bay is also part of the Riverton Heritage Trail.
