Coming up on the left/right is Brooklands Park and the Brooklands Park Zoo. It’s found just next door to Pukekura Park and is one of the best reserves in the country. The zoo is home to monkeys, deer, wallabies, rabbits, otters and a whole lot of birds. The English style gardens and the zoo are open daily. Part of Brooklands Park is the Bowl of Brooklands. It’s a popular open air venue which has hosted both national and international celebrities. There is an outdoor sound stage and a grass amphitheatre. The Bowl is ideal for any large scale function from concerts and corporate events, to weddings and dinners.
