Coming up is Lauren’s Lavender Farm & Café, housed in an atmospheric horse barn on a site overlooking the mighty Whanganui River. The farm produces its own unique range of lavender-inspired and infused products presented in beautiful packaging. Even in the dead of winter the symmetrically planted lavender rows look great, the café makes great espresso, and its tables spill onto a shady terrace. If you need to stretch your legs, a short bush track leads down to river.
