You are now approaching the Taranaki Thermal Mineral Spa coming up on the left/right hand side. Part of the spa is the historical Tarawhata Mineral baths. This mineral well was re-opened by the Bonithon Spa Health Company and it is now a healing facility with 29 000 year old water. There is of course a beauty spa, sauna and a boutique organic hair studio. Alkaline mineral water is bottled right here and can be purchased at the spa.
