You are now approaching Yarrow’s The Bakers, coming up on the left/right hand side. The bakery was established in 1923 and was the winner of the 2007 New Zealand export awards. It is one of the largest and last independently owned bakeries in New Zealand. The bakery is now owned and operated by the third generation of the Yarrow family and makes breads that are nutritional. They operate 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, supplying gourmet goods, breads, rolls and croissants to the leading supermarkets and other food companies around the world.
