You are now approaching the turnoff for Altura Wildlife Park & Horse Trek, Roseland Farm and Garden Restaurant coming up on the left. Altura is 4 kilometres from the turnoff and its 3 kilometres to Roseland Farm. The restaurant is New Zealand’s top barbecue eatery surrounded by native bush and farmland. Meals include the best beef steak and fish, vegetable dishes, homemade cakes and biscuits. After lunch you can wander around the award winning gardens or play tennis. You can also browse the possum merino clothing, jewellery and giftware on sale.
