Coming up on the outskirts of Tirau is Corrugated Creations, housed inside a stark white barn up on the hill. This is the Clothier family workshop where corrugated iron, a classic kiwi building material, is used to create big, bold, and bright, corrugated creations including the award-winning corrugated-iron eyeball that stares you down on SH1! The Clothiers have played a major role in reinventing the nearby township ofTirau which boasts an array of their works from a giant sheep and dog, through to teddy bears, honey bees, and just about everything inbetween.
