You are approaching the Rangiriri Pa Historic Reserve. This area is in memory and honour of the Maori who resisted British invasion in the Waikato land wars in 1860’s. An audio visual presentation of the battles are screened at Rangiriri Battle Site Heritage Centre across the road.
