You are now approaching Queen Elizabeth Park. The Park is within walking distance of Arotai Museum and Art Gallery on the corner of Park Avenue and Dixon Street. Queen Elizabeth Park is a 32 hectare park with a lake, an aviary and beautiful gardens. There is also a children’s playground and a miniature golf course to keep the kids entertained while you explore the garden paradise. Paddle boats are available for hire and miniature train rides run through the park. The swing bridge is one of the highlights of a visit to the park and is a must see for all visitors.
