Coming up ahead is the Kaiparoro Anzac Bridge. The bridge was built to honor the Anzac troops who died in the First World War. The bridge was designed by a civil engineer named Alfred Falkner and the stone that he used to construct the bridge was taken from the Manawatu River. The Kaiparoro Anzac Bridge is located in the Miller Scenic Reserve which is an excellent spot for a walk or a picnic.
