You are now approaching The Wellington Cathedral, a beautiful building with a well known choir. This is an Anglican Church that holds the seat for the Bishop of Wellington. The parliament buildings are located next to this spectacular cathedral and its west wing is known as the “beehive building.” This building is built in a round cone-like shape similar to that of a hive. The Wellington Cathedrals Lady Chapel can be found behind the beehive and the National Library is located on the corner opposite the cathedral. All these impressive buildings are in walking distance of one another and are all worth seeing.
