Coming up is Wellington’s opera house. This is an impressive brick face building with wooden floors on all three levels. An ornate dome and two old fashioned boxes on either side of the operas arch are some of the buildings most impressive features. There is also brightly colored art work inside the Opera House. It was also originally called “The Grand Opera House” but has since changed to just the “Opera House.” A number of theatre productions are staged at the Opera House each year, including the Nut Cracker.
