Coming up is the Left Bank Art Gallery. This gallery is located on the banks of the Grey River and opposite the Clock Tower. The building was once used by the Bank of New Zealand but now displays regular exhibitions of contemporary New Zealand arts and crafts. The craft shop sells ceramics, woodcraft, textiles and jewellery. The New Zealand Pounamu and Jade Collection showcases the country’s finest collection of contemporary jade works.
