Coming up is now is Sunset Point, were you can enjoy breath taking sunrises, sunsets and starry skies. Close by is the Hokitika river mouth and beach, and views of New Zealand’s highest mountains. The area is ideal for walks, picnics, exploring the beach and fishing for white bait. Also, have a look at the Tambo Sailing Ship Statue, a statue that commemorates the sailors and beach combers who lost their lives in search of fortune in the late 1800’s.
