You are approaching Thunder Creek Falls. This twenty eight meter waterfall is a must see on a journey along the Haast Highway and through Mount Aspiring National Park. This particular waterfall is most spectacular after heavy rainfall and is aptly named. However, on a fine day the waterfall is still popular and is a short five minute walk from the car park and is wheelchair friendly.
